Sustainability & Self-Sufficiency

Tucked into a quiet Vermont valley, Hidden Valley Farm opens into rolling hills, forested shelter, and open meadows warmed by sunlight. Here, the air carries the clean scent of grass and woodsmoke; the cattle graze under the protection of ridgelines; the home is naturally shielded from northern winds. This is a working landscape where nature does much of the work for you.

Across 475 acres of farmland, pasture, hayfields, forest, and preserved bird sanctuary, Hidden Valley is more than a property — it’s a self-sustaining, eco-forward retreat built on purpose and practicality. And at the heart of that sustainability is a robust, modern solar and electrical infrastructure designed for long-term resilience. The farm features 72 professionally installed, framed, galvanized-steel solar panels, delivering 30 kW of clean free energy. This production is divided into two 400-amp services, providing ample, redundant power to the main house, guest house, barns, and the permitted new home site on the slope. Energy independence isn’t an aspiration here — it’s a daily reality.

Eco-values woven into every detail—conservation, closed-loop systems, resource independence.
